But seriously--people need to do what is right for them, and I can have fun hanging out in a RV or glamping too.

  • Avatar b w What is a Best tent for camping in the heat?
    Feb 04, 2007 by b w | Posted in Other - Outdoor Recreation

I am going to a festival that the heats gets a little much in the mornings, I understand tent fans are around so i guess which is the best tent fan/ tent combo. I do not want a pro one thats super $$ just in case it has to be left behind at the concert (on the other side of the country) heh thank you for your time and answers

    • I live in AZ, and have camped numerous times in heat, and I know how unpleasant it is to wake up too hot. Honestly, I would get any cheap tent. Most tents these days come with a rainfly or at least vents. I would cover th …rom the sun and any potential rainfall. Basically, just make sure you have circulation and you'll be fine, but bring blankets because it may be hot during the day, but even in the hottest desert, it can get cold at night.

  • Avatar Poophowbouter Does anyone here own a Hennessy Hammock?

If so, how do you like it?

    • Henessy Hammocks are by far the best sleeping accomodation for the outdoors that I have found. They are lightweight, and quick to set up and break down. They have water proof wraps that keep the ropes that keep it up in t …ur were in a tent. Another good thing about them is you have dry storage underneath it. I can't tell you how awesome and versatile these things really are. I can guarantee you will not be dissapointed if you purchase one.
